Apple will announce its iPhone 16 lineup on 9 September 2024 at an event called ‘It’s Glowtime’, and stores will sell the new devices on 20 September that year. The next iterations of the devices will feature a dedicated Capture Button for taking photos and videos, as well as possibly with AI enhancements of their own (Apple Intelligence?).
There are rumours that the iPhone 16 Pro and Apple iPhone 16 lineup will feature a new Capture Button designed to enhance the photography and videography experience. This dedicated button will likely be located on the right side of the device, in the space previously occupied by the mmWave antenna on US models. The Capture Button is expected to be pressure-sensitive, allowing users to perform various camera functions with different levels of pressure. A light press may enable autofocus, while a harder press could capture a photo. Additionally, users may be able to swipe left and right on the button to zoom in and out. This new feature aims to simplify content creation, especially when holding the phone in landscape mode. While initially rumored for all iphone 16 release models, some reports suggest it might be exclusive to the Pro versions The addition of this button represents Apple’s continued focus on improving the iPhone’s camera capabilities and user experience. now wait for release date countdown
The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to come in four colour options, with a notable change from the previous generation. According to leaks and rumours, the colours will include black, white or silver, grey (possibly called “Natural Titanium”), and a new shade replacing the Blue Titanium of the iPhone 15 Pro models
1. This new colour has been variously described as rose gold, bronze, or “Desert Titanium,” potentially offering a more distinctive option for users. Apple may be using an improved process for finishing and colouring the titanium frame, resulting in a glossier look compared to the brushed finish of the iPhone 15 Pro models. This new finish could resemble the stainless steel used in earlier iPhones while maintaining titanium’s scratch resistance. While the exact names and shades may vary, these colour options aim to provide a balance of classic and unique choices for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to enhance their spatial video capabilities, building on the feature introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro. This improvement aims to create more immersive content for viewing on the Apple Vision Pro headset. Spatial videos capture depth information, allowing for a three-dimensional viewing experience that makes memories feel more lifelike and engaging when watched on the Vision Pro. The upgraded spatial video feature is likely to offer higher resolution and improved depth mapping, potentially capturing content at 4K resolution and 30 frames per second. This enhancement aligns with Apple’s push towards more immersive technologies and content creation, providing users with a seamless way to capture and relive memories in stunning 3D detail on their Vision Pro headsets
